This applet input screen will automatically connect you to IRC.CHATSTER.ORG IRC network server. Using our web chat is as safe as using Mircosoft Chat or mIRC programs.
The web chat applet is signed by Thawte's Netscape object signing certificate and Microsoft Authenticode certificate. It only perform the following two secure actions:
Open socket connection to IRC server.
Create server socket for Identd request during login process.
Therefore, it is safe for users to grant these permissions and enjoy the beauty of real time chatting. If a certificate message window appears indicating the authenticity, just select the grant permission button, and enjoy!
